Yusuf İslam / Cat Stevens, Beyoğlu Kültür Yolu Festivali kapsamında 19 Ekim 2022'de İstanbul'daki AKM Türk Telekom Opera Salonu'nda ve Başkent Kültür Yolu festivali kapsamında 23 Ekim 2022'de Ankara'daki CSO Ada'da sahne alacak. ‘Father & Son,’ ‘Wild World' ve umudun ölümsüz marşı ‘Peace Train' gibi hit şarkıların yazarı Yusuf İslam / Cat Stevens ilk kez Türkiye'de sahne alacak. Bu özel konserlerin çekimleri ileri bir tarihte TRT tarafından yayınlanacak.

Yusuf Islam / Cat Stevens is set to perform at the AKM Turk Telecom Opera Hall in Istanbul on 19th October, 2022 as part of the Beyoğlu Culture Route Festival and at the CSO Ada in Ankara on the 23rd October, 2022 as part of the Başkent Culture Route Festival. This will be the first time that Yusuf Islam / Cat Stevens, the writer of such hits as ‘Father & Son,’ ‘Wild World,’ and the timeless anthem of hope ‘Peace Train,’ has ever performed in Türkiye. These special concerts are set to be filmed for broadcast by TRT at a future date.

“My relationship with Turkiye goes back to the early Eighties when I first visited after embracing Islam. The welcome I received was so affectionate and strong, I felt at home immediately. I will perform many familiar songs and the profits from these concerts will go to Peace Train, my charity for feeding people around the world.”
